Cotuit Summer 2026: A New Coach At Lowell Park And The Friday Rhythm That Replaced Wicked

Most years, a Cotuit summer reads as a single layered weekend: Friday dinner at one of three rooms on Main Street, Saturday at the beach, a Kettleers game whenever the schedule lined up. The 2026 season does not work that way. With Wicked Fire-Kissed Pizza closed and its gift cards now honored a few hundred feet up Route 28 at Villaggio Prime Bar and Grille, the village has lost one of its anchor dinner stops and gained, in its place, a wider weekly spine spread across Lowell Park, the Cotuit Center for the Arts campus, and Freedom Hall on Main Street.

That redistribution is the story of the season. The calendar is no longer organized around where to eat on Friday. It is organized around three nights and one Saturday, with the restaurants playing supporting roles to a programming schedule that, for the first time, is dense enough to carry the week on its own.

The Spine Of The Week

The dependable hours to plan around this summer:

Day Anchor Where
Wednesday Wine & Music Wednesday, with a free guided campus tour preceding it Cotuit Center for the Arts, 4404 Falmouth Road
Friday Fridays in the Back Yard, free admission, every Friday at 5pm Cotuit Center for the Arts
Saturday Kettleers home games at Lowell Park 10 Lowell Avenue
Select Tuesdays and Mondays Dream Tale Puppets matinees Freedom Hall, 976 Main Street

Two of those four are new to the village's rhythm at this scale.
